A cropped open blazer in fluid navy crepe from Chloé's 1990s ready-to-wear. No closure — worn draped. The cuffs are handstitched, the label too. You have to look closely to find all the details, which is exactly the point.

  • Oversized cuffs with a 17.5" opening, sculptural and almost cape-like
  • Silk lining throughout
  • Fiber content unlisted, fabric consistent with wool crepe with silk crepe facings
  • Best fits US 4–10, intended to be worn oversized
  • Dry clean only. Sourced in Paris.

i source twice a year in paris, in person, by hand, looking for pieces that have something the current market doesn't: construction that holds, proportion that's considered, a point of view that didn't come from a trend cycle.

everything here is one of one. when it's gone, it's gone. i choose each piece because i'd want to own it myself, and i write every listing because i think you deserve to know exactly what you're buying.

will this fit me?

every piece is photographed on a medium dress form — 34.5" bust, 26" waist, 33.5" hips. measurements for each piece are listed in every product description along with sizing recommendations. if you're between sizes or unsure, reach out to me on IG @othermattersatelier or other@othermattersatelier.com before purchasing and i'll help you figure it out.

how is condition assessed?

each piece is inspected and described by me, Hope, an experienced fashion designer with more than 13 years in the industry. condition notes reflect what i'd want to know as a buyer, not a best-case reading. if a flaw is there, i will say so.

what if something goes wrong?

every order ships fully insured with tracking. if your piece arrives damaged or significantly different from how it's described, contact me within 48 hours at other@othermattersatelier.com and i'll make it right. for all other returns, store credit is available within 14 days of delivery — pieces must be unworn and in the same condition received.

the fashion industry has spent decades trying to be everything to everyone; every trend, every moment, every market. the result is a lot of product and very little that lasts. other matters exists in the space between. pieces chosen because they were made with a point of view, not a trend cycle. because the construction holds. because someone knew what they were doing when they made it. bringing one home is a small act of intention in a very loud world.
